Space for the Entire Family

The most important aspect of any SUV is its interior space, and the 2021 Honda Pilot has plenty of it. It offers 152.9 cubic feet of passenger volume across its three rows of seats. Plus, whoever’s sitting up front gets to enjoy over 40 inches of headroom and legroom.

Eight seats come standard in the Pilot. Opting for a model with second-row captain’s chairs offers more comfort but reduces the seating capacity to seven. It’s easy to get to the third row whenever you want. Simply press a button on the available one-touch second-row seats and access that third-row space.

Generous cargo space is also a hallmark of the 2021 Pilot:

• 18.5 cubic feet behind the third row (all seats up)
• 55.9 cubic feet behind the second row (third-row seats folded flat)
• 109 cubic feet behind the first row (second- and third-row seats folded flat)

Plus, with several seating configurations available, choose the best layout depending on the size and shape of what you’re hauling. Need to transport a ladder or kayak? Fold down the passenger-side seats to carry these long items. Bringing home a small piece of furniture? Fold down the rear seats. For larger objects, fold down all seats except those in the front.

Versatile Honda Pilot Connectivity

A wide variety of entertainment options are available in the 2021 Pilot, including an Advanced Rear Entertainment System. Opt for this feature to get a 10.2-inch screen that folds down from the ceiling, optimally placed for second- and third-row occupants.

Integrate this system with the available Wi-Fi® hotspot and you can stream media like you do on a smart TV. Select from a number of other connectivity options, like Blu-ray™, HDMI, USB ports, and more.

A unique available feature is CabinTalk®, which makes it easy to communicate throughout the cabin. Your voice will be heard by those riding in the back without having to turn around to talk. Your voice will be picked up and projected through the speakers in the back or headphones if rear-seat passengers have them plugged in.

While these available features impress, the Pilot does come stocked standard with a number of great amenities. Take for example the 5-inch color LCD screen. This multimedia screen is integrated with a 7-speaker sound system with a subwoofer. Use the standard Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® to connect and play your favorite podcasts or playlists with tone that’ll reign true throughout the cabin.

The Pilot also comes equipped with a Speed-Sensitive Volume Compensation feature. This system works to adjust your interior volume according to the speed you’re traveling at. So, if you’re on the highway with the windows down, this will turn your volume up to provide you with the premium sound quality you desire.

On top of the high-tech connectivity options, this SUV offers other in-cabin conveniences for a more comfortable ride, starting with how the Honda Pilot interior looks. It comes standard with cloth seats, and upgraded trims offer leather-trimmed or perforated leather seats.

A 10-way power adjustment is available for the driver’s seat, which includes lumbar support. Using this, you can find your perfect seating position and achieve supreme seating comfort. Generously sized armrests offer even more luxury for the front row.

You’ll also enjoy the standard dual-zone automatic climate control system. Using this, front-row occupants will have the ability to customize the interior temperature for their zone. Whether it’s nine degrees out or 90, this climate control system will keep you protected from the harsh elements.

Many features in the 2021 Pilot can be controlled with the push of a button. A push button start comes standard, so you can keep the key in your pocket while you drive.

In the 2020 model, only certain trims allowed you to switch gears by pressing a button, thanks to shift-by-wire technology. This gets rid of the gear shifter, leaving you with more open space in the center console.

More control was available via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, as well. This is a feature you’ll find in all the 2021 Honda Pilot trim levels, creating a significant upgrade in driving convenience.

Honda Pilot Honda Sensing® Suite

The Pilot, like most Honda vehicles, also comes with the Honda Sensing® suite of safety & driver-assistive technologies. This will do a number of things. Firstly, it can keep you safe on the roadways. Beyond ensuring your safety, this suite also serves to make your interior driving experience as easy as possible.

Take the Adaptive Cruise Control, for example. This standard system broadens the applications of traditional cruise control by adjusting cruising speed based on preset following distances you have designated. This will allow you to use cruise control in a wider variety of settings, say on crowded streets.

You’ll also appreciate the standard Auto High-Beam Headlights that come in this package. These will come in handy on night time drives, detecting if there is oncoming traffic and turning your high beams on and off accordingly. These will provide you with excellent visibility while also ensuring drivers in the oncoming lane can see.
